We keep that philosophy firmly in mind as we build our Amana brand Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTACs).
Whether you are in the hotel/hospitality industry or provide assisted living services, Amana brand PTAC Units are designed to provide your business with plain-and-simple product durability and advanced energy management features, while helping you to create the best indoor comfort possible.
COMMITMENT TO QUALITY ENGINEERING
Always in pursuit of the highest performance and efficiency, Amana engineers are constantly evaluating the latest technology and applying it to every Amana brand PTAC Units. This commitment to constant improvement ensures that our PTAC units continue to meet or surpass industry standards. The Amana brand line of air PTAC Units are designed and built to ensure dependable operation with continuous, trouble-free cooling comfort. But best of all, the operation of your PTAC Units can be monitored and reviewed by your personnel with the use of the DigiSmart® Energy Management System. This system monitors data from the unit and detects the potential cause of system related issues. Amana PTAC Unit owners use this information to be better informed when contact service technicians, and save money on unnecessary repairs.
To truly seal the deal, every Amana brand PTAC Unit is backed by their industry-leading limited warranty. The longevity of premium Amana brand products combined with this excellent warranty coverage offers you a level of purchase protection that’s the stuff of PTAC Unit legend. The Amana manufacturer warranty includes a one year PTAC Unit replacement, and five years for Parts & Labor. Rest assured that your climate control equipment is running as efficient as possible with Amana.

Amana PTAC Unit Efficiency
The DigiSmart® system is the first of its kind for the Amana brand. Compared to the energy consumption of a standard Amana brand PTAC product without DigiSmart, the DigiSmart Wireless Energy Management System for Amana brand PTACs can reduce energy costs up to 35%. Beyond the benefits of reduced energy consumption, the DigiSmart system can assist in monitoring unit performance and targeting maintenance.
Simply stated, the DigiSmart system employs an in-room wireless thermostat and occupancy sensor connected with the push of a single button. No wiring is required. This allows you to connect all the PTACs in your building so they can be monitored from a single controller. At any time, you can tell if the unit is running, if the room is occupied and even view whether any maintenance is necessary on any of the connected PTACs.
